About the Event

***NOTE - Due to damage to the Whooping Crane Conservancy Boardwalk, this program has been relocated to the Mid-Island Tract.***

Bring binoculars and dress for the weather.

Your guide is Dr. Lynn Hodgson, an accomplished birder, fellow Master Naturalist, and former natural sciences professor. Currently she is Vice President of Hilton Head Island Audubon Society, leads the Tuesday morning Bird Walks at Audubon Newhall Preserve (mid-Oct to mid-May), and captains Port Royal Plantation’s participation in the Christmas Bird Count.

If you wish to attend the LCMNA oyster roast and annual meeting immediately following, you must RSVP separately so that we have an accurate head count! Please only sign up for ONE of the advanced training programs prior to the oyster roast, as they are happening concurrently. At this time due to limited space, only LCMNA members may sign up for the advanced training programs.
