About the Event
Learn to take memorable, beautiful photos with your smartphone while learning all about the fascinating ecosystem of the Lowcountry. This 2 hour tour will be led by fellow Master Naturalist and interpretive naturalist/photographer Pippi Itkor who will teach you not only how to set up your camera correctly to take great photos, but how to compose better shots and really tell a story with the images you capture while exploring the landscape of Pinkney Island. Along the way she will also teach you about the fascinating flora and fauna that resides there.
Tour includes a takeaway photo instruction guide. Come dressed for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes. Bring water, and of course, your smart device! Pinckney National Wildlife Refuge, located just as you come onto Hilton Head Island, is a pack in/pack out property and there are no restrooms or potable water available.
