A General Membership Meeting You Don’t Want to Miss –

LCMNA Goes to College!

When: Wednesday, October 19, 2022

Where: USCB Bluffton Campus, One University Blvd, Bluffton, SC 29910

*Free parking is available in all student lots or guest spaces*

5 – 6:00 pm: Dine in the SANDBAR (Campus Cafeteria) in the Campus Center – Buffet Style meal for

around $7. Please RSVP for dining for planning purposes.

6 pm – 7:15pm: General Membership Meeting in the Hargray Building, Room 156 (a short walk from

the cafeteria)

Meeting Details:

Our program will be a triple treat:

1)We will meet and welcome the new Director of the Spring Island Trust and LCMNA, Andy Jones

2)Carol Clemens, fellow Master Naturalist and coordinator of the Hilton Head Osprey Watch Program

will talk about our local Osprey populations and their lifestyle. She will also share her website of nature

photography

3)Our host, Andrea Sisino, Vice-Chancellor of Community Outreach and Director of Osher Lifelong

Learning Institute (OLLI) will speak to us on the importance of lifelong learning to help prevent “small

thinking”. Thank you, Andrea, for hosting our group!
