About the Event
Our winter LCMNA membership meeting will be held virtually via Zoom. Dr. Chris Marsh will take us on a visual journey of reading the landscape on a regional scale starting in the mountains of North Carolina and ending up in Florida. On this journey he will describe the geological origins of the southeastern US and how this geology helped create the habitats present today.
Chris is the director of the Spring Island Trust/LowCountry Institute, co-founder and instructor for the Master Naturalist program, and expert ornithologist.
Grab a snack and drink and join us at 3:45PM for a social, followed by a few brief announcements from LCMNA President Jill Kombrink and our speaker at 4PM. We will leave video and audio on at the beginning of the program for our social time since it has been so long that we have been able to meet together!
A registration link will be sent out a few weeks before the program, so mark your calendar now and stay tuned. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.
