The Spring LCMNA Membership Meeting is coming soon.  It will be great to be together again!

Meeting Schedule

6:00 - 6:45 Pot Luck Supper

6:45 - 7:00 President’s Message

7:00 - 8:00 Presentation by Vince Albanese, "The Reality of Climate Change"

In a change from our usual topics, our guest speaker, Vince Albanese, will dive into the greatest threat to our world, environmentally, ecologically, economically and socially - climate change.

Vince Albanese has spent his entire career in the field of engineered pollution control systems and energy efficiency. A significant part of his job involved liaison with federal, state and regional government agencies, as well as various environmental advocacy agencies. Besides his so-called 'day job' as Senior Vice President of an engineering company, Vince had the honor of being appointed president of ICAC, The Institute of Clean Air Companies – which was the national trade association of companies that develop and supply air pollution control technologies. While in this office he authored and presided over several key pieces of testimony rendered to EPA and Department of Energy under both Bush administrations, as well as the Clinton and Obama administrations. In 2015 and 2016, he provided support to the US Chamber of Commerce, White House OMB, Council of Environmental Quality, and several Congressional Committees during the pursuit of greenhouse gas regulation by former president Obama. Vince is a scientist by academic background, with an undergraduate degree in Chemistry, and a graduate degree in Physical Chemistry.
