Join Lou Brown, Public Education and Engagement Planner at Beaufort-Jasper Water Sewer Authority, for a behind the scenes tour of the Chelsea Water Treatment Facility run by BJWSA.  Find out where your drinking water comes from and how it is processed to make it safe to drink in your home; something everyone should know.   This tour will involve a classroom session showing a brief overview of BJWSA, with short videos and a glimpse of the Great Swamp.  (Due to safety concerns, we will not be able to go to the Great Swamp in person.)  A tour of the plant will follow, and you will see all the steps involved in making your drinking water safe.  This tour will be enlightening about what goes through your tap.
