This work day is part of this year's 10th anniversary celebration for the National Landscape Conservation System (NLCS).

From Tucson, take I-10 west. Take exit 242, and turn west onto Avra Valley Rd.
Travel 13 miles.
Parking area will be on the right at Pump Station and Avra Valley Rd. intersection.
Be a part of conserving southern Arizona’s precious Sonoran Desert as the Bureau of Land Management hosts a volunteer work day to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Ironwood Forest National Monument.
Volunteers can join in one of the following projects:
• Invasive buffelgrass pull
• Road rehabilitation
• Recreational shooting site rehabilitation
