MOUNTAIN VISTA FIRE DISTRICT
POSTING AND AGENDA
March 15, 2010
Pursuant to A.R.S. 38-431.02, Notice is hereby given to the members of the Mountain Vista Fire District and the general public the Mountain Vista Fire District Board will hold a meeting open to the public on Monday March 15, 2010 at 6:30 PM at 2292 W. Magee Road, Suite 180 &190, Tucson, Arizona 85742.
AGENDA
I. CALL TO ORDER and ROLL CALL
a. Pledge of allegiance.
II. CALL TO THE PUBLIC
Members of the Board may not discuss items that are not specifically identified on the agenda. Therefore, pursuant to A.R.S. 38-431.01(G), action taken as a result of public comment will be limited to directing staff to study the matter, responding to any criticism or scheduling the matter for further consideration and decision at a later date.
III. CONSENT AGENDA
a. Meeting minutes for February 15, 2010 and executive session minutes for February 15, 2010.
IV. ADMINISTRATIVE CHIEFS REPORTS AND UPDATES
a. Correspondence.
b. Financial reports for February 2010.
c. Updates on fire apparatus.
V. DISCUSSION AND OR ACTION ITEMS.
a. Discussion and or action to select a replacement for Meighan White on the board of directors.
b. Discussion and or action to authorize the hiring of additional office staff.
c. Discussion and or action regarding these changes to the district policies and procedures.
Section 9.6. Add “Board Members shall be notified immediately of any changes in any draft agenda, and provided with a copy of the amended agenda and any relevant documents as soon as reasonably possible. The amended agenda and related documents shall be distributed to board members via email.”
Section 10 Paragraph 1.Add “Board Members shall be provided with copies of the meeting minutes via email as soon as they are completed. The Administrative Fire Chief shall cause the minutes to be uploaded to the Fire District’s website as soon as possible after completion of the minutes.”
Article 7,Section 8. Insert “Any member of the Board shall be entitled to attend any meeting conducted by a committee formed by the Board.”
Section 9.6 Insert “Where relevant, any documents pertinent to an agenda shall be date stamped.”
d. Discussion and or action regarding forming a committee.
e. Discussion and or action regarding the Fire Chiefs job description.
VI. Pursuant to A.R.S 38-431.03 the board may vote to go into executive session for the purpose of consultation for legal advice regarding contract negotiations and items relating to the district policies and procedures.
VII. Adjournment

Copies of any amendments to this agenda will be available at the meeting.
